FADU, Establishes Foothold in Indian Market via ‘Data Center
Summit & Awards 2025’ - The rapid growth of AI in India is driving a surge in demand for data center SSDs, providing FADU with momentum
for early market entry
- Through expanding collaboration with
major Indian AI data center companies, FADU is exploring new business
opportunities
- With Open Compute Project (OCP)
certification, FADU has proven its reliability in the
global hyperscale data center market |
Hosted by UBS Forums, a renowned Indian B2B technology media
company, the event is served as a premier platform for leaders in the data
center and AI sectors to come together and exchange ideas.
This year’s theme, "Optimizing Infrastructure for a
Hyper-Connected World," attracted participation from global data center
companies and local IT industry leaders such as STT GDC India, CtrlS
Datacenters, Sify, ESDS Software Solution, Yotta Data Services, and Tata
Communications.
This event held strategic significance for FADU beyond a simple
technology showcase. India's data center market is experiencing rapid growth,
driven by government-led initiatives such as the India AI Mission, aimed
at fostering AI development across the country.
According to Indian market research firm Astute Analytica, the Indian data center market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.37%, reaching approximately USD 21.87 billion (KRW 31.15 trillion) by 2032.
In particular, the market is rapidly shifting from SATA (Serial
ATA) and SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) based SSDs to high-performance PCIe
(Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) SSDs for data centers, driving a
significant surge in demand.
Through this participation in the event, FADU initiated early-stage collaborations with leading AI data center companies in India. This strategic move is expected to serve as a crucial stepping stone toward customer diversification and long-term client base expansion.
In a presentation session on SSD strategies for advancing AI
infrastructure, FADU highlighted key topics such as the projected growth of the
enterprise SSD market driven by increasing AI workloads, technologies for
optimizing power efficiency and performance, and customized SSD strategies
tailored for global hyperscale customers.
FADU’s Gen5 SSD lineups—featuring U.2, E1.S, and E3.S form
factors—drew significant attention for having received official certification
from the global open-source data center consortium, the Open Compute Project
(OCP). Certification by the Open Compute Project (OCP)—an initiative led by
global tech leaders including Meta, Microsoft, and Google—marks a strong
endorsement of FADU’s technological capabilities and reliability. This
milestone enhances FADU’s credibility among hyperscale and data center clients
and paves the way for broader engagement with global customers.
With our proprietary SSD controller technology, FADU delivers high-performance, energy-efficient solutions tailored to our customers’ needs—strengthening our global competitiveness,” said Tae-kyun Kim, Chief Business Officer at FADU. “Our participation in this summit marks a pivotal step toward building strong partnerships with India’s leading AI data center companies and establishing a solid foundation for market expansion in the region.
